ELIGIBILITY
World Rowing Championships are open to all member federations. A rower may compete in a Junior rowing event until 31st of December of the year in which he reaches the age of 18.
EVENTS OFFERED
The following events are offered at the 2018 World Rowing Junior Championships:
Junior Men (JM): 1x, 2x, 2-, 4-, 4x, 4+, 8+
Junior Women (JW): 1x, 2x, 2-, 4-, 4x, 4+, 8+

All rowers, entourage, coaches, volunteers, and staff have a right to participate and work in a non-violent, safe and respectful environment. Behaviour and actions that constitute harassment and abuse shall not be tolerated. ABOUT THE VENUE
Sea Forest Waterway is a newly constructed venue for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Its West and East Dam separate the rowing course from the Tokyo Bay. With water gates on the east and west side of the course it will allow the water level to remain stable throughout the entire period of the 2019 World Rowing Junior Championships.

- an asphalt road is located all the way along the north bank of the course
- total length of the water is 2335m
- total width of the course is 198m
- 4 pontoons
