“The rhythm was good. The Russian starts well, it was hard to stay relaxed. At the end, it was also good. The Irish girl came very fast, but then I realized it would be ok. In the next weeks I will train to have a faster finish. I will come back in a double, with the Olympics in mind.”

“In the race, I focused on giving a bit of reserve toward the end and focusing on the sprint. I didn’t realize how close everyone was to me, especially Patricia. Now focusing on the European Champs in the single. 

B-final

After yesterday’s repechage, Hungary’s Syham Abid had a very tight race with Joana Branco of Portugal and finished just ahead. The race was again tight today but it was Branco this time that managed to finish ahead of Abid. This gives Branco seventh overall.
