2006 World Rowing Championships ticket update
Daily tickets are on sale for the 2006 World Rowing Championships in Eton, Great Britain.
This is a chance to see the best rowers in the world compete on the 2012 Olympic Games course at Dorney Lake. More than 1,000 rowers from 60 nations are expected to compete at the World Rowing Championships from 20 ? 27 August.
Daily tickets with grandstand access for the first six days of competition range from £10.00 – £20.00 if pre-booked and £15.00 – £25.00 if purchased on the day. Tickets for the Enclosure start from £5.00 if pre-booked and are available free of charge for under 16s on the first four days of the event and for £5.00 on the final four days.
Daily grandstand tickets are not available for the two finals days on 26 ? 27 August and anyone wanting to ensure a seat in the grandstand for the two finals days should purchase an eight-day ticket, valid for every day of the championships at £85.00.
This year’s World Rowing Championships will feature a dedicated local radio station that will air on the last four days of the championships. Spectators will be able to purchase ear-piece radios enabling them to listen to commentary on the races as well as previews, interviews and results. Purchasers of eight-day tickets will receive a free radio
