7th FISA Junior Coaches Conference to be Held in Great Britain

The 7^th FISA Junior Coaches Conference will take place from 17 to 20 October 2002 at Dorney Lake, Eton College, Great Britain.

This annual conference will include expert presentations on the history of rowing, with special reference to Eton School of Rowing.

The programme also includes a topic on school rowing presented as a comparison between different countries.

In addition, the event will cover strength training in prepubescent and pubescent boys and girls, rigging principles and practice as well as adaptive rowing.

The 2001 Junior coaches conference was held in Larnaca, Cyprus and attracted over 44 participants from 19 countries.
