Bring rowing to your country
Bids are now open for countries to host the 2009 World Rowing Forum. The International Rowing Federation, FISA, is looking to partner with an organising committee to host this quadrennial event.
The World Rowing Forum is a must-do on any discerning rowing calendar and brings together key players – coaches, sports medicine professionals, sports managers and event organisers – centred around a common theme. The last Forum was hosted by Istanbul, Turkey, and followed the theme "Competing for the Future – attracting new generations to rowing".
The Forum is also an opportunity for rowing partners and sponsors to exhibit their products allowing rowing professionals to learn about the latest technology in sport and become acquainted with current and potential suppliers.
The organising committee and venue will be selected this August 2007.
Interested? Please contact info@fisa.org to receive documentation to help with the bid proposal. Bids must be submitted by 30 June 2007.
Bids are also now open for the 2009 European Championships and the 2009 and 2010 Rowing World Cup regattas. For national federations and organising committees wishing to host one or more of these events, please contact FISA with a letter of interest at info@fisa.org.
