Cracknell will not compete in Poznan
James Cracknell will miss the season’s opening World Cup in Poznan, due to take place from May 7-9, with a rib stress fracture. His place in the men’s four will be taken by Ed Coode, 2003 world bronze medallist in the eight and 2001 World Champion in the four.
“The doctors are confident that James will make a speedy recovery and has a good chance of being fit to race again at the Munich World Cup Regatta*”, said British Performance Director David Tanner today.
