Friday’s racing for the second BearingPoint Rowing World Cup opens with the C and D finals followed by a mixture of repechages and semi-finals. The weather is calm, cool and overcast with almost glass conditions on the waters of the 2000 metre Olympia Regattaverein in Munich, Germany.

The skies are forecasted to clear as the day progresses and with 41 races to complete later events could well be bathed in sunshine.

The C and D finals saw a mixture of up-and-coming athletes as well as nations just starting out in the world of rowing. Greece achieved international racing water time and some nation’s number two boats raced for times.
