FISA Congress to Take Place in Seville
The International Rowing Federation
The 110th FISA ordinary Congress will be held Saturday September 14 in Seville, Spain on the eve of the start of the 2002 World Rowing Championships which commence Sunday.
150 delegates from 60 member federations are expected to attend. Items on the agenda for the 2002 Congress include the site selection for the 2006 FISA World Rowing Championships, voting on the applications for affiliation to FISA of Armenia and Syria as well the election of various FISA Specialist commission chairmen.
The Congress is the supreme authority of FISA and consists of delegates of the national federations that are members of FISA, the FISA President and the FISA Council.
The Congress begins at 9:00 (CET) at the Hotel Gran Renacimiento located near the finish line of the World Championships rowing course. Members of the media are invited to attend.
