Seven days of racing finished with Germany crowned the reigning champion of the 2003 Team Trophy. Germany finished well ahead of second placed USA who piped third placed, Australia, by only one point.

Germany's impressive victory came from an accumulation of points in 18 of the 22 events they entered and the black, red and yellow flag waved from the medal dais an impressive 14 times, four of those times in gold medal position.

Points were spread over 31 nations with Italy and Great Britain rounding off the top five. Points are awarded to the top seven places in each of the 24 rowing events.
