Group B Finals Underway

Olympic medallists are set to provide a thrilling finale to the FISA World Rowing Championships as Group B finals get underway at Lucerne.

In the men's eight Olympic champions Great Britain meet the bronze medal Croatian crew, with strong teams from Romania, Germany, Canada and USA guaranteeing an exciting final.

Olympic women's eight champions Romania have five changes from the crew that won in Sydney but will still be tough to beat. World Cup champions Germany are in action with Great Britain, Australia, USA and Belarus all in top form.

The lightweight men's four features a showdown between Olympic champions France and World Cup and three-time world champions Denmark. The two crews will be wise not to discount the other crews in action though. The Canadian crew has looked competitive this year while Austria and Italy pushed them hard in semifinals.
