March 2003 issue now available

For the first issue of 2003, a new more content-driven Rowing Australia Magazine is now available to subscribers. Australian rowing specialist Michael “Chook” Wilson took over as Editor of the magazine last September and set out to make the magazine more “readable” and in-depth than it was previously.

“I wanted to make it a solid content magazine that is more like a current affairs program such as Panorama or 60 Minutes rather than a news bulletin” he said.

The March 2003 issue offers pieces on the role of volunteers at rowing events and the problems faced with recruiting and holding on to volunteers, rowing and study and finding a balance to win in both, a photo story on stretching with triple world champion Victoria Roberts as well as all the latest on the Australian selection for the 2003 squad.

Three issues will be published per year. Contact Brianna at Rowing Australia on briana.wennerbom@ausport.gov.au for subscriptions and information.
