Rowers Bare All for Charity

Twenty-eight members of the Putney Town Rowing Club have stripped down to little more than their wellies to pose near-nude for a rowing calendar to be launched in October. The black and white photos show rowers posing with boats and other equipment to hide their modesty.

All proceeds of the calendar, sponsored by The Crew Room in Putney and Concept II, go to the Sir Steve Redgrave charitable Trust that aims to raise £5 million for children’s charities. Redgrave will appear (clothed) on the front cover and is planning to sign copies at the National Indoor Rowing Championships in Birmingham, Great Britain.
