The Swiss rowing federation is seeking a new technical director that meets the following criteria:
·   Managing experience at superior level .
·   Proven leadership qualities and a personality which will enable you to lead the team of professionals in both a competent and professional manner.
·   Ablility to show initiative and leadership.
·   A knowledge of the German language is desirable, but not a necessary pre-requisite. 

The job entails:
·     Managing the Swiss Rowing Federation.
·     Coaching of coaches and the other professionals.
·     Elaborating and implementing the overall strategy to increase race results.
·     Co-ordination and education of  the club managers within the federation to train and further enhance their knowledge and collaboration.

The starting date  for the position is January 2003 or at a mutually agreed date close to this date. The position will be based at our High Performance Centre in Sarnen which is in central Switzerland.
