"I feel great! It was a very good race, although every race is hard here at the YOG. I was ahead of Estonia for all of the race and I controlled it."

Tarin Cokelj (SLO) – Winner of Semifinal C/D2
"I had a very good start and got some good speed and tempo. I then had to keep the distance and I did what I had to do. It's amazing here in Singapore, only the weather is really hot and different from Slovenia."

"I went off very well from the start and could control the field, which was quite nice. My last two races were not that good but this one was very good and I'm in Final C. At the Junior World Champs I raced in the Junior Men’s Quad. Here in the Junior Men’s Single and over 1000m it's quite hard to get away from the big guys. For 1000m it's better to have big muscles."

Roberto Lopez (ESA) – Winner of Semifinal C/D2
"The competition is very strong but today my race was good and I am very happy."
