What they said after repechage racing
Rowers went to the start line today to have a second chance at qualifying for the Semifinals, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 17 August. Due to a thunderstorm, racing was delayed by 30 minutes but then the races were able to start in partially cloudy and mostly dry conditions.
What did the winners of the repechage races have to say about their race?

JUNIOR MEN’S SINGLE SCULLS (JM1x) – REPECHAGES
Tiago Braga (BRA) – Winner of Repechage Two "It was a very nice race. I thought it would be more relaxed, but I had to work very hard. I'm so happy with the result! Tomorrow I want to qualify for the A-Final. That's my goal." |
Mark Biro (HUN) – Winner of Repechage Three "The first half was very heavy and when I took the lead I just kept a one boat length's lead. In the last few strokes I knew I was qualified and relaxed a little bit. I'm really happy." |

Iurii Ivanov (UKR) – Winner of Repechage Four "Everything is ok, I'm feeling good. I've been training a lot, as much as I could, and I hope to be in the top three at the end." |
