METEOROLOGY

Amsterdam is situated in the moderate climactic zone of northern continental Europe, with mild summers and cool winters. The spring can be crisp and wet. The summer months between June and September can be alternatively hot and humid or cool and rainy. The most precipitation occurs in October and November. From December to February the weather is often cold, but sunny and dry.
