About Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park

Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park was built for the 2008 Olympic Games. Located in Shunyi District approximately 30 kilometers east of Beijing city proper, the Park is on the banks of the Chaobaihe River. Regarded as one of the most beautiful venues for the Beijing Olympics, the park was also the only venue in the world to have flatwater and slalom courses within one competition field. After the games it will be converted into a world-class resort for swimming and recreation.
