About the Regatta Course
The Royal Canadian Henley Regatta Course is a FISA Category A course and is well known to rowers around the world as the host course for the 1970 and 1999 World Championships. In addition to the eight lane course, there is plenty of room in Martindale Pond to marshal crews to the start line. The pond also allows natural warm up and cool-down areas. The venue is well-known to many in the rowing community, especially those in North America, as it is home of the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta which has been held for more than 100 years.
