Team Composition:

13 rowers  – five women, seven men and a coxswain.

Format:
Each rower races in two events, first in a “small” boat – pair or four, single or double sculls, and then in the two “large” boats – eight and quadruple sculls.

The eight will be made up of the men’s four, the men’s pair and the women’s pair. The quadruple sculls will consist of rowers from the women’s double sculls, the women’s single sculls and the men’s single sculls.

Length of course: 500 m

Points System
The Mercedes Benz World Rowing Sprints is a team event. Points will be awarded in each of the eight separate events as follows:
First                  5 points
Second             3 points
Third                 2 points
Fourth               1 point

The winning team will be the one with the highest number of points by totalling the number of points from each of the eight separate events.

Eurosport will broadcast the Mercedes-Benz World Rowing Sprints live from 15:30 to 16:30 CET (14:30 -15:30 UK time)
