FISA has developed a coaching framework following the guidelines of the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE). This framework consists of 4 levels covering basics up to modules for a Head Coach.

Each level corresponds with specific skills and knowledge for coaching roles. For an overview of these roles:

FISA is compiling and developing materials for level 1 and other modules. FISA’s member federations have many coach education resources readily available. In addition, seminars and conferences add to the overall knowledge of coaching in rowing.
