Filippi Spirit Award presented to university rower Nils Jakob Hoff
While Hoff is well-known in the elite rowing world for striking the iconic Viking pose after winning the 2013 World Championships, he said he was extremely humbled to win the Award. Hoff’s university club will receive a top-of-the-line racing eight that will be given to the university club.

The celebrations began in Poznan at the Nations Dinner, where David Filippi presented Hoff with a mini-boat.
The christening of the eight then took place during the Sunday A-finals in front of the victory ceremony pontoon.
