The changes to the constitution proposed by the European Rowing Management Board (ERMB) to separate the Statues and the Rules were accepted. The National Federations supported the establishment of a new entity the “Confederation of European Federations” which would be recognised under article 18 of the World Rowing Federation, FISA Statues. Finally, the delegates recognised the good cooperation with FISA in delivering Championship events and wish to ensure any new entity continues to be of a mutual benefit to the European Federations and to FISA. The European Championships racing programme will become gender equal and include Paralympic events from 2020.
