The regatta will be at the recently built venue of Nathan Benderson Park with rowing taking place over four days; Thursday 27 September to Sunday 30 September. There will be nearly 9000 seats filled across all boat classes.

Athletes from 48 nations will be travelling to Florida in to take part in their respective boat class and age categories, making this event truly global. The most competitors are coming from the United States with Chinook Performance Racing in Millington, Maryland sending the biggest team of 95 rowers.

Making the most of the new older age categories, 18 of the competitors are 80 years of age or older. Odilon Maia Martins of Brazil comes as the oldest competitor at 89 years old.
