2018 West African Rowing Regional Regatta

Event: OS/FISA Level I Coaching Course, Training Camp and first ever West Africa Rowing Regional Regatta

NFs: Benin, Togo, Côte d´Ivoire, Nigeria and Guinée (one coach)

Athletes: 8 female and 8 male

Coaches: 4 male and 1 female

FISA Experts: Alain Gaime and Michel Doutre (FRA)

The activity included a level 1 coaching course, a training camp and umpire training

21 participants worked during 7 days towards technical improvement on the water but also boat adjustment, repairs, ergometer testing and training techniques.
