World Rowing will be live streaming the full eight days of the racing at the championships, meaning you will be able to watch the heats all the way through to the finals.

The draw will take place on Saturday 24th August at 15:00 CEST and will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Races start on Sunday, 25th August at 09:30 CEST – here is how to follow the event on your mobile, tablet or desktop.

1.       The provisional timetable for the event can be found here. And entries for all the races are available here.

2.       Live audio commentary and the live race tracker will be available for ALL races on www.worldrowing.com

3.       Live VIDEO stream will be available for all races, every day. Here are the times that the live streams are meant to start (all times are in CEST – Central European Summer Time):

b.       Monday 26 August – 10:00 – 16:40

Sky TV New Zealand intends to broadcast highlights and replays from the A-finals but video streaming on worldrowing.com is geo-blocked in New Zealand until 24 hours after the end of the event. Please check your local TV listings for more details on Sky TV New Zealand’s coverage.

United States of America
World Rowing recently partnered with NBC Sports Group for coverage of the World Rowing Cups, European Championships and World Championships for the next three years.

Racing will be live-streamed on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app or via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, which includes NBCSN’s coverage. 

Live-streaming will not be available on worldrowing.com. The Video On Demand clips will be available as follows:

  • Days 1 – 4 there will not be any VODs
  • Days 5 – 8 will be available 24 hours after the close of the event, therefore 15:15 CEST on Monday 2 September.
