Got a spare pair of oars? Help spread coastal rowing

Coastal rowing is fast developing in new areas around the world and World Rowing wants to help it spread. Be part of the wave.

If your club has a spare set of sculling oars that you don’t mind donating, bring them to the 2021 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals or World Rowing Coastal Championships in Oeiras, Portugal. They’re really needed by countries that are setting up coastal rowing programmes. World Rowing will arrange for the oars to get to their new home.

The sculls used in coastal rowing are the same as for classic rowing so they will be able to be used for classic as well as coastal rowing programmes and the first sets donated will head to Africa.
