 The European Rowing Board, Belgium Rowing Federation and Hazewinkel Organising Committee (OC) have evaluated the current sanitary situation with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic and confirm that the 2022 European Rowing Under 23 Championships, Hazewinkel, Belgium can take place safely as planned from 3-4 Sept 2022.

The OC will publish the COVID-19 plan in early August which will follow the relevant guidelines applicable during the time of the event. This would be published on the OC website http://eru23ch2022.com/. The latest travel and entry guidelines to Belgium can be found on this link: https://www.info-coronavirus.be/en/travels/

Each Member Federation is responsible to exercise maximum care for its team members before, during and after the event. All participants must follow the measures in the OC COVID-19 Response Plan at all times. To protect the health of all participants, anyone not adhering to the participation conditions may, at the discretion of the European Rowing Board, face sanctions including possible immediate disqualification and exclusion from the event.
