Regional Government of Andalucía collaborates with World Rowing to promote the Spanish region of Andalucía and the city of Seville as a cluster of international Rowing innovation and excellence

Today, Regional Government of Andalucía and World Rowing unveiled a new annual collaboration. The partnership will see Regional Government of Andalucía’s leveraging World Rowing’s extensive communication platforms and channels to spotlight the Spanish region of Andalucía and the city of Seville as a global hub for Rowing innovation and excellence.

The collaboration focuses on World Rowing’s most prestigious annual international competition in the Olympic discipline of Classic Rowing – the World Rowing Cup series. Over three Grand-Prix-style weekends and held at renowned Rowing venues around the world, the World Rowing Cup series brings together elite Rowers for the highest level of competition.

Regional Government of Andalucía’s annual sponsorship will strategically activate this unique environment to showcase the region’s rich Rowing culture and its world-class Rowing facilities to the sports’ global community and the wider international audience. The Region of Andalucía hosts the illustrious Seville-Betis Regatta, now in its 58^th edition, and the cutting-edge high-performance centre ‘Centro Especializado de Alto Rendimiento de Remo y Piragüismo La Cartuja’.
