More than 3,600 athletes will compete at the 2024 World Rowing Masters Regatta on the Beetzsee in Brandenburg, Germany. The preparations for this biggest community event of World Rowing, entering this year in its Golden Jubilee (50 years) are in full swing.

“In the approximately 680 races that will be held over the five days of competition, rowers from 736 clubs across the globe will compete in various boat classes for a total of 2,430 medals” said Volker Garmatter, who heads the organizing committee for the 2024 WRMR.

The masters’ rowing community is vast and always growing, given anyone aged 27 or more becomes a member of this group. As a mark to recognise our Masters rowers, World Rowing is launching a platform – World Rowing Masters which gives you an opportunity to get the profile and publicity you deserve. It is recommended for all rowers participating in 2024 World Rowing Masters Regatta in Brandenburg, Germany to sign up and get their License number. This will be a mandatory requirement for World Rowing Masters Regattas from 2025 onwards.
