Official Communication - Exclusion of ITA PR1M1x, Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Following the exclusion of the Italian PR1 M1x in the Final A at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, a protest was lodged by the Italian National Paralympic Committee and the Italian Rowing Federation.

The protest was reviewed by the Board of the Jury, in accordance with Rule 76. Following the decision of the Board of the Jury to confirm the decision of the Jury member, an appeal was lodged to the World Rowing Executive Committee, in accordance with Rule 77 of the World Rowing Rules of Racing.

On review of the appeal and considering all elements relating to the exclusion of the Italian PR1 M1x in the Final A, the World Rowing Executive Committee concluded that the decision made by the Board of the Jury will be upheld, and the ITA PR1 M1x will remain excluded.
