Antalya, Turkiye, has been officially announced as the host for the 2025 European Rowing Coastal and Beach Sprint Championships. The event will bring together Europe’s top coastal rowers for an exciting competition on Turkiye’s stunning Mediterranean coastline. 

The Championships will take place in Manavgat, a renowned coastal district of Antalya, famous for its sand beaches and clear waters. With its ideal coastal conditions and growing reputation as a hub for international sporting events, Manavgat promises to provide an exceptional stage for both the endurance challenges of coastal rowing and the thrilling action of Beach Sprints. 

Following the successful organization of the 2024 European Rowing Under 23 Championships in Edirne, Turkiye continues to demonstrate its commitment to the development of Rowing by welcoming another major European event. Antalya, known for its dynamic sports culture, will provide an ideal setting for the fast-paced and exhilarating disciplines of coastal rowing and beach sprints. 

Annamarie Phelps, Chair of the European Rowing Board, expressed enthusiasm for the choice of Antalya: “After the excellent delivery of the European Rowing Under 23 Championships in Edirne, we are delighted to see Turkiye hosting another key event on the European rowing calendar.
