2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The World Rowing Coastal Championships are open to crews from rowing clubs, who are validated by their Member Federation to race. Crews will race 4km or 6km around a course of buoys and turning points in the open sea, providing some exhilarating racing!

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

The World Rowing Coastal Championships are open only to club crews nominated by their member federations. To compete in a World Rowing Coastal Championship regatta, a rower shall be a member of a club recognised by the member federation.

EVENTS OFFERED

Men: CM1x, CM2x, CM4x+

Women: CW1x, CW2x, CW4x+

Mixed: CMix2x

TIMELINE

Athlete Voting for Coastal Rowing Member of Athletes Commission

Voting will take place at designated booth for the election of one member of the Athletes’ Commission representing Coastal rowers.  Voting will take place:

WRCC Friday 7 October – 12:00 – 18:00 Athlete Area
WRCC Saturday 8 October – 12:00 – 18:00 Athlete Area

Please inform your athletes to come by and cast their vote.  Voting must be in person.  No proxy voting is allowed.  Athletes must bring their accreditation card.

Voting will be done electronically. All accredited athletes at the 2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships & 2022 World Rowing Beach Sprint Final, including spares, are eligible to vote.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The World Rowing Coastal Championships will take place along the Saundersfoot beach and harbour, in the Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales, Great Britain.
