What is the World Rowing Tour?
The World Rowing Tour is an annual event organised by World Rowing, bringing together rowing enthusiasts from around the world. It offers participants the chance to explore scenic coastlines and build lasting friendships. The tour is non-competitive and designed for rowers of all skill levels, promoting the sport of rowing, cultural exchange, and the joy of exploring new places by water. Due to its popularity, the event will run twice: Group A from October 13-21, 2024, and Group B from October 20-28, 2024.
How to Participate
Interested participants can join the World Rowing Tour by registering through the official World Rowing website. The cost per person includes all rowing and safety equipment, accommodation at Park Beach Hotel, most meals, and transportation for cultural visits. Participants will need to arrange their air tickets and airport transfers separately.
The entry form, duly completed with all requisite signatures, should be sent via email by the applicant and the National Rowing Federation before 31 July 2024 to this email address: warwick@darvall.com.
