James, Gennaro, Rummel and Weil of the United States are the silver medallists with Pragnell, Dunkley-Smith, Turrin and Lloyd taking bronze for Australia.

We had a really good first 100 m. Every detail counts in such fast conditions, we are very happy with this medal.

B-final

Italy got away very quickly with Serbia chasing hard. The Serbian crew missed out on the A-final by less than half a second which made them the favourites for today’s race. But an on-fire Italian crew held off Serbia and a late charge by Germany.
