World Rowing Memo regarding Para Rowing Pontoon size, 03May2024 (2)

In recent months, the Equipment and Technology Commission have been working with the Para Commission to develop a quick test template for use at World Rowing (WR) events.

The template was trialled successfully at the recent Lucerne Qualifying and World Rowing Cup regattas.

The template, developed by E&T Chair Mathias Binder is an exact model of the WR Standard Design PR1x pontoon specifications.

The model will assist athletes and Umpires alike to make quicker assessments at the Control Commission pontoon as crews boat for the start.
