The World Rowing Federation, FISA, wishes to advise international media that accreditation is now open for the 2015 World Rowing season.

This season includes:

  • World Rowing Cup I 8-10 May, Bled, SLO
  • European Rowing Championships 29-31 May, Poznan, POL
  • World Rowing Cup II, 18-21 June, Varese, ITA
  • World Rowing Cup III, 10-12 July, Lucerne, SUI
  • World Rowing Under 23 Championships, 22-26 July, Plovdiv, BUL
  • World Rowing Junior Championships, 5-9 August, Rio de Janeiro, BRA
  • World Rowing Championships, 30 August -6 Sept, Aiguebelette, FRA

In this pre-Olympic year the World Rowing Championships will also act as the main qualification regatta for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The World Rowing Junior Championships will act as the test event for the Rio 2016 Olympic rowing regatta.

Para-rowing will take place at World Rowing Cup II in Varese, Italy as well as the World Rowing Championships.

At World Rowing regattas a fully equipped media centre will be available.

The World Rowing website, www.worldrowing.com,  will be the main channel containing; event dedicated page, entries, results and related advisories, race reports, live race tracker, audio commentary, photos, feature stories and live blog.
The finals of the three World Rowing Cups, the European Rowing Championships and the World Rowing Championships will be streamed live on www.worldrowing.com.
