The international rowing season is truly underway with the 2021 World Rowing Cup I which goes from 30 April to 2 May 2021 in Zagreb, Croatia.

Croatia, Germany and Switzerland have all sent large teams and they will join in racing against 23 other nations. There are many top rowers to watch and to find out more have a look here.

The LIVE draw will be taking place at 15:00 CET on Thursday, 29 April and will be live streamed on Facebook. The first race will start Friday, 30 April at 10:00 CET.

The World Rowing Executive Committee, in consultation with various bodies including Tokyo 2020 and the World Rowing Athletes Commission, have recommended that all heats at World Rowing Cup I will be conducted as Time Trials. This is necessary as a practice in case time trials are needed especially at the Olympic Games. The Tokyo Olympic time trial patterns will be practised and will give all parties included a valuable experience in the procedure.

Live tracker will NOT be available for Friday morning’s heats. It will be available for Friday afternoon’s repechages and the remainder of the competition.

Live VIDEO streaming will be available for the following races:

– Saturday 1 May – 10:00 CET until 12:30 CET

– Sunday 2 May – 10:30 CET until 13:25 CET.
