Following extensive discussions with all key stakeholders including the Polish public health authorities, the World Rowing Executive Committee, Polish Rowing Federation and organising committee confirm that, given the current evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic at this time, the 2022 World Rowing Cup II, Poznan, can take place safely as planned from 16 to 19 June 2022.

In line with World Rowing guidance and guidance from the local public health authorities, the OC will prepare a detailed COVID-19 Response Plan which will be published online at https://wrc2022poznan.com/ no later than 25 April 2022. The response plan will outline all preventative measures to be undertaken and all testing requirements upon arrival and during the event. World Rowing and the OC are confident that the measures planned to be in place are appropriate to minimise the risk of transmission and infection at the event.

Each Member Federation is responsible to exercise maximum care for its team members before, during and after the event. All participants must follow the measures in the OC COVID-19 Response Plan at all times, including the latest requirements on mask wearing, social distancing and other measures published by the OC. More details will be published soon.

To protect the health of all participants, anyone not adhering to the participation conditions may, at the discretion of the World Rowing Executive Committee, face sanctions including possible immediate disqualification and exclusion from the event.
