The 2022 European Rowing Under 19 Championships will not take place in Sabaudia

The Organising Committee of the 2022 European Rowing U19 Championships, Sabaudia, Italy in consultation with the Italian Rowing Federation, have informed World Rowing and European Rowing Board that they are unable to meet their obligation to host the event in Sabaudia from 21-22 May 2022.

Under the circumstances, World Rowing and European Rowing Board have accepted this withdrawal and the event will not take place in Sabaudia. All Member Federations who have booked accommodation and paid deposits should contact OC Accommodation Manager Tereza Ciampa accommodation@sabaudiarowing.com to cancel their bookings and apply to get their complete refunds back.

The ERB wishes to inform member federations that discussions are ongoing with Italian Rowing Federation to try and secure an alternative venue in Italy for the same dates: 21-22 May 2022. Further information about the new host city will be published on Friday 25 March 2022.
