The World Rowing Executive Committee and the Organising Committee for the 2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships and Beach Sprint Finals in Pembrokeshire, Great Britain have now confirmed that the respective events can take place from 7-9 October and 14-16 October 2022.

In line with World Rowing guidance and guidance from the local public health authorities, the OC will prepare a COVID-19 Response Plan which will be published online on https://www.worldrowingcoastals2022.org/. The response plan will outline any required preventative measures to be undertaken.

Each Member Federation is responsible to exercise maximum care for its club and team members before, during and after the event. All participants must follow the measures in the OC COVID-19 Response Plan at all times. More details will be published soon.

To protect the health of all participants, anyone not adhering to the participation conditions may, at the discretion of the World Rowing Executive Committee, face sanctions including possible immediate disqualification and exclusion from the event.

World Rowing and the Organising Committee continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and the latest public health recommendations. Any further updates will be communicated to the Member Federations directly.
