Nominate in the following categories:

World Rowing Men’s Crew of the Year

The World Rowing Men’s Crew of the Year Award is awarded annually to a male rower or a men’s crew for their outstanding rowing achievement. The winner(s) have to be a male rower or men’s crew that has won a World Champion title in the current year, or in an Olympic year been successful at the Olympic Games, but hasn’t won this award in previous years.

World Rowing Women’s Crew of the Year

The World Rowing Women’s Crew of the Year Award is awarded annually to a woman rower or a women’s crew for their outstanding rowing achievement. The winner(s) have to be a woman or women’s crew that has won a World Champion title in the current year, or in an Olympic year been successful at the Olympic Games, but hasn’t won this award in previous years.

World Rowing Para Crew of the Year

The World Rowing Para Crew of the Year Award is awarded annually to a para-rower or para-crew for their outstanding rowing achievement. The winner(s) have to be a para rower or para crew that has won a World Championships title in the current year, or in a Paralympic year been successful at the Paralympic Games.

World Rowing Coach of the Year

The World Rowing Coach of the Year Award is annually awarded to a coach that has coached a World medalist crew in the current year, or in an Olympic year had a  successful crew(s) at the Olympic/Paralympic Games, and who demonstrates a unique feature, eg has overcome a significant obstacle to succeed.

Nominations are also open for the following awards:

Thomas Keller Medal

The Thomas Keller Medal is the highest distinction in the sport of rowing. It is awarded to recognise an exceptional international rowing career as well as exemplary sportsmanship and legendary aspect.

This award is for any retired rower (not more than 5 years) who has had a long and successful rowing career and who has made an outstanding contribution to rowing as a competitor and as a sports personality. In principle, only one medal may be awarded in any one year.

World Rowing Distinguished Service to International Rowing

This award is dedicated to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to develop international rowing.

The deadline for all nominations is 15 October 2022. The finalists will be announced in November 2022 and then the winners will be revealed at the virtual 2022 World Rowing Awards in early December 2022.
