World Rowing, the international governing body for the Olympic sport of Rowing, has refreshed its Supplier Programme, strengthening the Official Supplier tier and introducing a new Premium Supplier designation.

The programme is designed to recognise established and emerging companies whose products, services and expertise contribute to the quality, innovation and development of rowing worldwide. It provides a platform for businesses to officially associate with World Rowing and strengthen their presence in the global market.

Since establishing the Supplier Programme a decade ago, World Rowing has evolved from a federation primarily centred on Classic Rowing into a broader international sporting ecosystem encompassing Classic Rowing, Coastal Rowing and Indoor/Connected Rowing. At the same time, World Rowing’s events, digital platforms, communications channels and content capabilities have expanded significantly, creating new opportunities for suppliers to showcase their expertise and engage with athletes, clubs, event organisers, fans and Member Federations around the world.

The refreshed programme reflects this evolution. Beyond recognition and visibility, it aims to create opportunities for suppliers and World Rowing to exchange expertise, foster innovation and contribute to the sport’s future development.

At its foundation, the World Rowing Official Supplier tier is designed for companies active in the international rowing market that want to establish a recognised relationship with World Rowing. It provides an official association with World Rowing and a platform for suppliers to demonstrate their commitment to rowing and its international community.

The newly introduced World Rowing Premium Supplier tier offers companies an elevated pathway to a closer and more prominent relationship with World Rowing. Premium Suppliers benefit from enhanced recognition and visibility, together with defined opportunities to activate their association across selected World Rowing channels, materials, events and activities.

Both tiers are supported by newly developed supplier identities and logos, enhanced recognition across World Rowing’s platforms and expanded opportunities for companies to bring their association with the sport to life.

“Today, World Rowing offers a much broader and more exciting platform than it did a decade ago,” said Christian Osterode, World Rowing’s Head of Broadcast & Marketing. “As the organisation and the sport continue to evolve across disciplines, competition formats and digital channels, our new Supplier Programme provides Rowing-connected companies with an attractive platform to showcase their products, expertise and innovation, connect with the global Rowing community and build a meaningful, long-term association with World Rowing.”

The launch forms part of World Rowing’s wider work to strengthen its commercial and partnership ecosystem and build sustainable relationships with organisations that contribute to rowing internationally.

World Rowing welcomes interest from established and emerging companies, including equipment manufacturers, technology and service providers, and other businesses whose products, services or expertise contribute to the sport.

Companies interested in becoming an Official Supplier or exploring opportunities as a Premium Supplier are invited to contact World Rowing to learn more about the programme and discuss the most appropriate pathway for their organisation.
