Warszawskie Ergowiosla to Bring Indoor Rowers Together in Warsaw
A new indoor rowing event in Poland will welcome everyone from children to Masters – with free entry for all participants.
A new indoor rowing event is coming to Warsaw this November, with Warszawskie Ergowiosła 2026 set to bring together competitive rowers, recreational athletes, children, Masters and rowing fans for a day of racing and community.
The inaugural event will take place on 21 November 2026 at the Business Club at Legia Warsaw Stadium, one of Poland’s best-known sporting venues. Organised in cooperation with the City of Warsaw, the event is being led by Polish rower Maciej Zawojski and his wife, two-time Olympic medallist Agnieszka Kobus-Zawojska.
Participation in Warszawskie Ergowiosła is completely free, with competitors invited from across Poland and internationally.
The programme is designed to be accessible to a wide range of ages and abilities, with categories ranging from 10 years old through to 85+. Individual races will be contested over 500 metres, alongside an eight-minute relay for those looking to compete as part of a team.
The organisers’ ambition is to create more than simply a day of indoor racing – they want Warszawskie Ergowiosła to become a meeting point for the rowing community and an opportunity to bring the sport to a wider audience.
By opening the event to both experienced competitors and newcomers, the organisers hope to demonstrate that indoor rowing can offer a competitive challenge, a recreational activity and a way for different generations of rowers to come together.
International rowers are also invited to take part, with the organisers aiming to make the first edition of Warszawskie Ergowiosła a starting point for connecting the Polish indoor rowing community with athletes and rowing fans from around the world.
Warszawskie Ergowiosła 2026 takes place on 21 November in Warsaw, Poland. And as the organizers say, “Your rhythm. Your way. Your Olympics.”
